■ Teaching
Mariia offers lessons in piano, music theory, composition, and improvisation. Her teaching approach combines strong classical training with creative freedom: she guides students through classical repertoire while also introducing elements of jazz, improvisation, and contemporary styles. She believes that music education should not only build technique, but also inspire individuality and artistic expression.
■ Pedagogical approach
With an emphasis on developing the ability to play by ear, Mariia teaches students how to find melodies and create their own accompaniment. She is open to each student's individual goals and wishes, and strives to create lessons that are both structured and inspiring.
■ Professional background
For more than 12 years, Mariia worked as a ballet accompanist at a professional choreographic school in Kharkiv, where she collaborated closely with dancers and teachers. This experience has given her a deep understanding of musical phrasing, rhythm, and movement, which she brings into her teaching.
She regularly takes part in concerts as an accompanist, working with both vocalists and instrumentalists.
